How does Lottery help the community

The TX lottery is also very keen to help its own and directs proceeds to the Foundation School Fund. The lottery slogan of: ‘When Texans Play, Texas Wins!’ has certainly come true with more than $13 billion having been given to the school fund.

In 1994, Texas was the number one US lottery (based on sales figures). Of the TX lottery’s selection of games, Lotto Texas has emerged as the largest and most popular. The right Lotto Texas results can change lives, with players receiving multi-million dollar jackpots if they have winning numbers on their tickets. Lotto Texas was introduced on November 7, 1992, with the first jackpot winner coming just 21 days later. The lucky jackpot winner was Janie Kallus from Schulenburg who won an impressive $21.8 million!

Lottery winners

Lottery winners

Texas has lots of lottery winners. In year 2000 Thomas ‘Hollywood’ Henderson checked the Lotto Texas results and found that he was the winner of a $28 million jackpot. Henderson was a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys and had already been lucky enough to go to three Superbowls, winning one and playing in the 1978 Pro Bowl. However, Henderson had fallen on hard times, having lost almost all of his money following drug and alcohol problems, before winning the fantastic jackpot.

Another was Joan Ginther, originally from Bishop, a city in the Lone Star State. Ginther must go down as one of the most successful lottery players of all time, as she’s won more than $1 million on the Texas lottery, an incredible four times! Her total winnings over the years amount to more than $20 million and date back to 1993, when she won $5.4 million in a Lotto Texas game.

These are many other winners that have received their share of the prizes from the Texas Lotto, a figure that stands at more than $5 billion. You can try these 10 best lottery games to play in Texas and try your luck.

10 things to remind you again if you win the lottery

Lottery Winners

Being a winner is really awesome when you find your lucky winning numbers being drawn out in lottery that changes your life completely. Winning few bucks is also worth but if you have won a million dollars or more then you really have made a blast. Powerball winners thus become wealthy instantly, remember there was a $310 million winner from the Powerball lottery in Michigan and in February of 2015, the Powerball drawing with a $564.1 million jackpot there were three different winners who got to split this top prize. New York’s 2016 lottery drawing brought a jackpot worth $136 million. There have been other U.S. lotteries in years past with jackpots north of $500 million.

So if you seem to dream of becoming a winner in future powerball lotto or mega million lottery then you need to know and understand few things and remind yourself to do them when you make the news headline of being a winner. Note that once you are a declared a winner you become a market target and some people find instant enemies, and some people become their own worst enemy. So here are the 10 things to remind you again if you have won the lottery or dream to win.

1. Always sign your winning lottery ticket

When you see that you have won the lottery then without fail sign your winning ticket and report it to the state. Never lose your winning ticket because if you did and your ticket was unsigned anyone can cash claim on it. Fighting over this is no simple task, and disputes have arisen over who owns what ticket. So lottery tickets are almost considered the last form of bearer bonds that anyone can collect on if they show up with the coupons and bonds. Lottery tickets expire at different times from state to state, but note that they generally expire in 90 days to one year.

2. Never tell everyone that you have won but try to go incognito

Many lottery winners what they do is in excitement and joy yell and dance and start telling everyone around that they have won the lottery. But doing this is putting you in danger. Everyone who has ever done anything for you now may come with their hands out asking for something, or worse. You might have heard of kidnap and ransom insurance before and how many lottery winners are even murdered for money. So better to remain anonymous and request the lottery state officials to keep your name incognito. Therefore no need to alert anyone that you have won.

3. Try to en-cash your winning price in annuity rather than decide to take the up-front cash

Many winners take the entire cash and after spending lavishly become a broke within few days. Getting tens of millions of dollars at once probably sounds better than getting a paycheck for the next 30 years or so but consider that close to 70% of lottery winners end up broke, many within a couple or few years. Let’s say that you can choose to get $172 million up front, or you can choose to receive a payout of $300 million slowly over the course of a lifetime. Most people choose the lump sum rather than the annuity payment as it is instant empire-making money.

If you are confused then take help from a reputable and visible tax professional and a reputable investment advisor at a top money management firm with a widely recognized company name and a long corporate history. Decide your way of encashment prior your visit and decision about a lump-sum or annuity option.

4. Hire a tax lawyer or go for tax consultant

If you are interested in investing and protecting your wins then have a solid and respectable team of advisors and managers in place to act as your buffer that will protect your assets now and in the future. Also, don’t think that this money is a tax-free payment as you probably will have to pay the top tax bracket to the IRS and the highest state and local income taxes. Also do not take heed of your drinking friends but hire a good expert or lawyer who will protect your assets against all threats and even protect it in case you die to handle it safely to your heirs.

5. Clear off your debts first and then enjoy to spend your winnings

One lottery winner in California was strapped with debt from property purchases and what seemed to be excessive insurance policies. Whether you take the lump-sum or the annuity option, if you have a single penny of debt in the immediate future and distant future, then something is seriously wrong. For that matter, you should not have a single debt ever again. If you manage to go broke down the road and still have a mortgage, car payments, student loans, credit card debt and personal bills, you will have lost the right to be mad when all of your friends and family members ridicule you every day for the rest of your life. So first clear off your debts and then enjoy to spend your wins.

6. Avoid to gamble again and stop spending money on unnecessary things

Many winners think that they have now become a rich man and behave to be like one. They spend the win money and gamble more even spending on the things they do not need. So in the greed to have more you will lose all that you have at present. So if you start gambling in Las Vegas and are not happy until you are gambling with hundreds of thousands of dollars or more per play, you are dooming yourself. Also taking you and your favorite 50 people on a luxury cruise around the world can become very expensive, very fast. So act wisely with the money you have won.

7. Do not start shopping on cars and houses

Many winners start shopping and spending their wins immediately after their wins. Many go out buying luxurious cars houses though they may never need it. So stop that spendthrift attitude. If you start buying everything for everyone, chances are high that they might expect that to last forever. The other end of the story is that you do not have to be a cheapskate either. Still, after hearing a real life personal story of one lucky winner buying more than 30 cars and multiple houses in three months, it is just crazy.

8. Form a budget and stick to it

As a winner it is hundred percent chance that  you will make some serious purchases but to have money in control hands is more important. Therefore you need to set limits and that can be done by forming a budget for yourself. Seek a finance advisor who may help you with proper budgeting of your win money.

9. Do not fall trap on your family or friend’s advice

Most common happening in a winner’s life is that hearing the winnings family and friends even far relatives come and meet you and start pitching ideas as what to do with the money you have won. Do not fall on their trap of some crazy business and investment idea that may lead you to losses. Always protect yourself and your money from such advisors.

10. Do not give all in charity

It may sound mean to you but remember you have life ahead and God knows what may happen to you and your family in future. You may fall ill or have to undergo a surgery or you need to fight some case and so on and so forth. So give to charity but to a certain limit and save the rest for your future. Atleast save till you are alive! If you insist on giving it all away, structure your will and estate to give it all away upon your death.

So in the end of this 10 thing to remind you remember that you have to live like as you were living before and note that you also come under same laws of society. Many people when they become wealthier by winning the lottery bring in ego in their mind. They also think that they have become something special and now they do not need to live like anyone else on earth. But remember this is life where one day you are wealthy and one day you can be poor again.  So be wise to act wise and keep your lucky wins in safe.

How to protect yourself if you win Powerball Jackpot?

Lottery Winners

Against all odds of the lottery game there are people who beat such odds and put their name in the winners list. It is said that in extreme grief and in intense joy many lose their heads. Becoming a winner is just great but you need to keep a cool head ahead and now what to do next so as to protect your money, privacy and yourself. The first and most important step – sign your ticket

So what do the winners should do. Should they just hope and dream or open their wide mouth in amazement. Well there is much to do beyond ‘ Wow and Awe’.

You need to do careful planning

From the moment you knew you had won you need to do careful planning. Certainly, winning this or any other big lottery prize would be transformative, and potentially not in a good way. Most of those who buy lottery tickets on a regular basis or who pick up tickets when the jackpots get really, really big, tend to spend their time thinking about how to spend the money.

Should you win, however, you need to start at the other end of the spectrum, and start thinking about how to protect both your money and yourselves. Because there are some truly ugly statistics out there showing that 70% of lottery winners end up losing it all: some blow through all their money and end up destitute, while others end up losing their lives, even being murdered for their riches.

Protect your privacy in every possible way

In many cases, the good folks at Powerball have the right to splash your name and image, clutching one of those giant faux cheques, across media organizations worldwide. So you’d better be prepared.

The first step is to sign the back of your ticket. An unsigned ticket can be grabbed by anyone and claim the prize and be off to their dreams and hopes with your billion-dollar prize, entirely legally.

After you sign it, and before you claim your prize, put that ticket in a safe deposit box. Then seek out a reputable lawyer, one accustomed to dealing with trusts and estates – even if the process of finding the right person takes you weeks or a few months. Depending on the state in which you live, you’ll have anywhere from 90 days to a full year in which to claim your prize, so make full use of that full space.

If you are not able to find a good lawyer then search the Google and type  “trusts and estates”; look for a big, reputable law firm with a presence in many large cities and that is likely to have experts in many fields, including tax law, because you’ll need them.  You will be able to afford them and you can also consult the American Bar Association, which maintains lists of experts in various fields. The bar can provide you with the track record of any lawyer and reassure you that he/she hasn’t been disbarred.

Add a publicist to your list of recruits to team lottery winner

If state laws allow  as most do the lottery organizers will release your name, the city you live in and the county, as well as the exact size of the jackpot. From there, it will be fairly easy to find out where you live and get hold of your phone number unless you’ve already moved. So, add a publicist to your list of recruits to Team Lottery Winner, and plan to be gone by the time the news breaks.

You can rent a hotel room or house with the help of a trustworthy friend, or have your attorney create a limited liability company (LLC) that cannot be traced back to you and use it to rent or buy a new apartment or house. Change your phone numbers, and your e mail addresses, and take down your social media profiles. If you are working give your employers a few hours’ notice of what is to come: more, and they’ll tip off the media; less, and they’ll feel blindsided. You don’t want that, if it’s a job you want to keep doing because you actually like it or rely on it for a sense of meaning or purpose.

Plan for your family and friends

Have a strategic plan in place for how you’ll address this with family and friends, to avoid envy setting in. You’ll want to share your good fortune, in all probability. So, sit down and think about what their needs and wants are – new houses, college tuitions, trust funds – and draw up a list. Then present those to them as gifts. Also remember, there will be gift taxes to pay; make sure that the gifts are structured in such a way that you’ll be footing that bill, not them. That could help offset some of the inevitable strains that your newfound wealth will put on the friendship. At least it will mean they don’t feel they can ask for money initially, and you aren’t confronted with the dilemma of wanting to say “no”, but not feeling able to do so.

Find a way to shield yourself and your assets from unknown predators

Many of your far cousins or friends will ask you outright for such gifts because they don’t feel that you earned that money. You’ll have to find a way to shield yourself and your assets from those wannabe predators.

A first step is to have a good knowledge of your family tree, to winnow out the pretenders from the real relatives. Pass that along to a staff member, and make it their job to shield you from these requests. Give them a form letter that spells out that you have a non-profit philanthropic foundation, and they are welcome to apply to it for a grant.

Also working to give money away and to improve the lives of others will give you and your family a way to focus on something that is constructive involving the money that has just reshaped your lives. Working together, you can seek out projects that reflect your ideas and values, and transform the lives of others.

Make right decisions

Before you indulge in giving money to improve life of others you need to be first make yourself financial future. That means making sure you make the right decision for you and your family on whether to take the lottery payout in the form of a lump sum or annual payments, and ensure that all the taxes are paid. Then, pay down all your outstanding debts  with the exception, perhaps, of your mortgage. It’s possible that the mortgage interest deduction may help lower your taxes in coming years, so talk to your accountant and tax adviser about this.

Keep funding your retirement accounts and college savings plans, and get  secured yourself against the nightmare of a poverty-stricken old age, or the prospect that your children won’t be able to attend college. After reviewing your spending habits over the course of a year, ask your advisory team for some hard-headed advice: should you turn some or all of your remaining winnings into an annuity, so that it generates a safe stream of income over your remaining lifespan.

It is not only winning Powerball but you need to beat the odds again on your winnings if you take time to plan the above things carefully.

Would you look at the winners and losers of powerball who are beyond the real jackpot winner

Lottery tickets at the retailer

Being a US lottery winner is a big deal. You wait for the lottery draw announcement and  you are desperate to know who has won the great Mega Millions or Power ball jackpot. But the probability of the game and the odds are often not in your favour. So when the largest-ever lottery prize is finally awarded, the winners and losers will extend well beyond the lucky few who hit the jackpot and the multitudes of disappointed ticket buyers. If you wish to look at such winners and losers then do not get disappointed to read the true facts.
State Government are the winners

The biggest Powerball winner is actually state government in the jurisdictions that participate. That’s 44 states as well as the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Each jurisdiction spends the money raised through the lottery differently, with the rules determined by state Legislatures. In some states, the money goes directly to education or college scholarships. Elsewhere, it might fund transportation. Some states send it to their general fund, where lawmakers decide how to use it.

The money raised by a state depends on ticket sales, with larger-population states usually generating more money.

In fiscal year 2016, for example, Powerball and other lottery games generated$366.9 million for Iowa’s general fund. he California State Lottery has raised more than $30.9 billion for public education, including a record of more than $1.5 billion in Fiscal Year 2015-16. So who is the winner?

Convenience store owners are the winners too

Owners of convenience stores and other ticket-selling locations earn a small percentage of each sale, but more important, people often buy something extra when they stop for Powerball tickets.

The Kum and Go chain, which has 430 gas stations and convenience stores in 11 mostly Midwestern states, has seen a significant increase in sales from the Powerball rush. At the tiny Marketplace shop in downtown Des Moines, owner Anastasia Walsh said her overall sales have been up about 10 percent in recent weeks because of all the Powerball sales. Same sales for lottery were high in Texas Wichita Falls Lotus Convenience store. You can see players lined up to buy the lottery tickets.

There are winners of smaller prizes
Lottery officials often note that while the jackpot gets all the attention, far more players get a nice consolation prize of $1 million for matching the five white balls but missing the Powerball. And if they pay an extra dollar when they buy their ticket, that prize can double to $2 million.

It is common to see that, 25 people match the five numbers and win $1 million, and three players pay the extra buck and win $2 million. Players also receive much smaller prizes for matching as few as three numbers or just the Powerball.

The Actual winners are also on the list

As more people play Powerball, the chances for a winner improve, simply because more of the 292.2 million possible number combinations are covered. The chances also grow that more than one person will match the five white balls and one red Powerball, meaning the prize could be divvied up between two or more winners.

A single winner could choose between an annuity paying $1.5 billion over 30 years or a lump sum of $930 million. Those figures are before federal and state taxes, which generally eat up close to half of the money.

So who are the losers then?

Problem Gamblers

It is not surprising that the calls to the Washington-based National Council on Problem Gambling’s help line have soared, largely because of interest in the Powerball jackpot. The surge in interest in Powerball is especially difficult on people who have managed to stop gambling but now find their friends and co-workers talking about the big prize.
The game is glamorous and if everyone is doing then why not you is the question for many?
 Statisticians are also the losers

Also those who study statistics and other forms of math are losers as so many people across the country dream of a prize against all odds. “The odds are so large,” said Scott A. Norris, an assistant professor of mathematics at Southern Methodist University, “that people don’t have any sense of what they mean.”
The odds of 1 in 292.2 million are even worse than the 1 in 175 million odds that were in place until last fall, when the Powerball system was changed to build bigger jackpots.

Well, some gain some lose this is the game. But it is you who have to decide how to play, when to play and sticking to your bankroll.

What to do when Powerball jackpot reaches more than 100 million

Powerball Lottery

Powerball is one such lottery which like Mega million has number of players and a big grand jackpot prize. The changes made to Powerball in January 2012 and October 2015 meant that the Powerball lottery now consistently awards the biggest lottery jackpots in the world. In the year after the 2012 changes just under one in two; the actual amount: 50 out of 104; Powerball draw jackpots were more than $100,000,000.

The odds of winning any Powerball prize are now just 1 in 24.87, while the chances of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338.

So if you are interested in playing this lottery you need to understand how to play and how slim the odds of winning really are.

How do you play?

You choose five numbers between 1 and 69, then one “Powerball”  number between 1 and 26. The drawing consists of five “white” balls being drawn,  then one “red”  ball  — the Powerball – being chosen.

  • Buy tickets for online or from your local Powerball retailer.
  • Pick five regular numbers from 1–69 and the Powerball from 1–26
  • Draws take place on Wednesday and Saturday evenings as 10.59 p.m. ET.
  • Check the Powerball and other winning numbers.
  • Odds of winning a payout stand at 1 in 24.87.
  • Win huge jackpots of more than $40,000,000.
  • Claim prizes by within 180 days or online the next day.

Choose five numbers from between 1 and 69. Like nearly all lotteries, none of these five numbers can be the same and the order doesn’t matter. You’ll also choose a Powerball number between 1 and 26. Once you’ve bought a ticket, you’re going to have to wait for the drawings to take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m. (EST). It’s that simple and will take you one step closer to hunting down that big win.

How do you win?

There  are a few ways. Match all the “white” numbers and match the Powerball and you win the grand prize. Suppose the grand prize is  approximately $1.5 billion. Then you need to match five numbers without the Powerball and win $1 million; match four  plus the Powerball and you get  $50,000; match three and  the Powerball and you get $100; match three without the Powerball and you get $7; match two and the Powerball and you get $7; match one and the Powerball and you get $4; match the Powerball and you get $4.

How much does it cost?

Tickets  are $2. You can “upgrade” the ticket to something that increases the potential prize amounts.  It’s called a “Power Play” and it costs an addition $1 per ticket.  Click here to see the potential additional winnings.

How much would you actually get if you hit the grand prize?

That depends on how you want to collect your money – a lump sum or a 30-year annuity. The highest federal tax rate for 2017 is 39.6 per cent for income above $ 418,400, depending on your filing status. So suppose with a $1.5 billion jackpot,  you’re looking at a lump sum payout estimated at $903 million before federal and state taxes. The federal government will take 25 percent off the top of the lump sum – about $225.75 million – before you even see the check, leaving around $677.25 million. Of  that $677.25  million, you will owe tax on it at a rate of 39.6 percent rate.

In addition to federal taxes, your winnings will be subject to varying state tax  rates, unless you live in a state such as Florida which does not tax  lottery winnings. Click  here to see the rate per state for lottery winnings.

If you decide to take the annuity, you are in rare company. Most people opt for the lump sun. The annuity, paid out over 30 years is annuitized – meaning it starts out at a lower  amount and increases each year by about 4 to 5 percent.  You would be subject to federal tax — the same formula as if you take the lump sum — on the annual amount and state taxes if they apply.

Which states participate in Powerball?

Only six states in the United States do not participate in Powerball. You cannot buy Powerball tickets in Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada or Utah.

Is there advantage to using the “quick pick” system as opposed to using numbers you pick yourself?

About 70 percent of past winners used “Quick Picks,” numbers randomly chosen by the computer system that spits out tickets. Technically, however, numbers you chose have the same odds of winning as Quick Pick numbers do. Though some winners say to avoid Quick Picks.

What are the odds of winning the Powerball?

According to the Multi-State Lottery Association, your odds of matching all the winning Powerball numbers are 1 in 292.2 million.

Where and when is the draw done? Can anyone tamper with it?

The Powerball numbers are drawn in Tallahassee, Fla.,  at 10:59 p.m. ET on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The machine that draws the numbers is kept in a vault armed with two locks and an alarm. Audio and video recordings are made of the area surrounding the vault every time it is opened.

If you do win, can you remain anonymous?

Only six states — Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, North Dakota, Ohio and South Carolina –  allow jackpot winners to remain anonymous. In some states, you can create something called a limited liability company. That means that when the winner is presented, the company would be identified, not the individuals. Georgia legislators are trying to push a bill that would let you remain anonymous, but at a fee.

Thinking of playing Powerball lottery? There you go.

What are Some Lotto Tips Shared by Lotto Winners?

People are always searching for more ways to earn money. It’s obvious that almost everyone wants to earn more money but a few only are finding ways to achieve this goal. Some would play lotto, but are there proven lotto tips to win?

lotto winner

Nobody gets rich by being an employee, some people would invest and other would put up a business. Some would try their luck on lotto games, most would buy a ticket just for the sake of trying it out, but only a few would really play lotto with a certain knack for winning a lotto prize.

So how can a regular Joe win the lotto jackpot? People who regularly buy lotto tickets have a common method of choosing their lucky numbers and managing their number sets. It’s a common practice for lotto fans to use significant dates such as family birthdays anniversaries on their number sets.

You might think that’s just the usual way to pick your lucky lotto numbers and it won’t get you anywhere, so what are some winning strategies that actual lotto winners share?

Here are 5 lotto tips to help you pick your lucky numbers:

1.) Take Note Frequently Drawn Numbers

lotto number set

Consistency is always key in winning. While some people would stick to their personal lucky number sets, only a handful would consider the science of frequency in playing lotto. It’s a best practice to always take note of the most common and frequently-drawn numbers. Keep a tiny notebook where you can record frequent winning numbers that appear every lotto draw. You may want to combine these frequently-drawn numbers with your personal lucky number sets as well.

2.) Listen to Lotto Winners’ Techniques

Most of us would just say that previous lotto winners were just lucky enough to win the jackpot. The interesting thing though is that lightning struck more than twice for multiple lotto winners. So there must be an art or science to predict these winning number sets, right?

LotoRainbow’s Renato Gianella tells that winning the jackpot doesn’t depend on luck alone. Using the right information will enable you to create winning strategies. Gianella made a “color template” that allows people to determine number set combinations that have higher chances to win. It may sound a fancy way to pick numbers, but it won’t hurt to give it a try.

3.) Be Consistent with your Number Sets

number wheeling

Patience and consistency always matter if you’re playing a game. You have your reasons that you handpicked your number sets so there should be a good reason to stick with them as well. Lottery expert Richard Lustig told ABC news that being consistent and taking care of your personal number sets are keys to winning. Lustig won 7 lottery game grand jackpots already.

4.) Pick Overdue Numbers

There’s a theory among lotto winners that some numbers that haven’t been drawn for quite some time can suddenly show up and win. This seems ironic since there’s also a concept of hot numbers and cold numbers, the former being the most commonly drawn, while the latter don’t usually show up during draws.

The idea here is to be more flexible in picking numbers for your personal sets; if your sets are comprised of significant dates that don’t go over 20’s or 30’s then you need to consider creating other combinations to increase your chances of winning a lotto prize.

5.) Try the Lucky Pick

lotto quickpick

Here’s a tip that will determine if you really want to win or you just want to play lotto. While using the QuickPick option would be a contradicting way to the other tips mentioned in this list, Tatts Lotteries have data that shows previous winners have used a random QuickPick choice at least 50% of the time in Australia. Trying your luck by using QuickPick doesn’t hurt; it actually makes you more relaxed and takes the pressure off of you in winning the lotto jackpot. Sit back, relax, and enjoy playing and exciting game of lotto.

Is Powerball a Game of Pure Luck or Smart Strategy?

Everyone wants to win the Powerball lottery. Will you just depend on pure luck? Here’s our take on Powerball strategies.

Powerball USA

Most people would buy a Powerball ticket and just rely on luck to win a prize. Some bettors would even just hope to win a consolation prize because they think it’s impossible to win the grand jackpot. So if luck is only the key factor in winning the Powerball lottery then why do some people won the lotto, Powerball, and even mega millions a couple of times? Are these people luckier than others to beat out the odds of 200 million to 1 against them?

Previous Powerball winners claim that it’s not about luck, but hacks that enabled them to win the lottery multiple times across various platforms. Lotto wins range from pick 3, pick 4, and pick 6 games to mega millions and Powerball. Would you believe that there was a 1 multi-million dollar winner who it using scratch off games? These people owe their winnings to a more scientific approach rather than relying on significant dates or using the lucky pick system-generated numbers. So is a scientific method worth a try to win at Powerball?

What’s the Best Powerball Strategy?

Powerball winners don’t have a similar mindset with casual lotto bettors. They bet on their numbers without aiming to bring home the grand jackpot. It’s ironic how these lotto pundits win alot without hoping to win the jackpot. These people prefer to bet on pick 3 or pick 6 that don’t carry the jackpot prize. So how do they win? Most people will bet on the mega millions or Powerball $2 million jackpot prize, but previous lotto winners would prefer to win 100 prizes with each worth $200,000. Do the math, 20 smaller wins will give you $20 million. Arguably, it’s a better approach even if you win the jackpot prize, which you might share if other people betted on the same numbers.

These mathematical approach turned lotto winners into millionaires even without winning the jackpot prize. They established a winning strategy and made their fortunes from multiple small wins which became millions over a period of time. The key to winning doesn’t depend on luck, but is based on the concept of probability. You need to devise a system that gives you a maximum number of chances of winning by using the law of probability to your advantage. The lottery system is based on the solid foundation of the mathematics of probability. Don’t worry, even if you don’t need to completely understand the mechanics of manipulating probability, you just need to know the basics and use it to your advantage.

The Numbers Game

powerball draw

People will usually have birthdays, anniversaries, and other important dates as part of their number sets. It’s a best practice to “take care” of these number sets and be consistent in betting them. Reality checked – your number sets aren’t lucky numbers. Perhaps the closest thing that lotto experts can consider as lucky numbers are “hot numbers.” These are numbers that frequently appear than other numbers.

Professional Powerball players are consistent in taking note of these hot numbers so they can incorporate it on their personal number sets. Hot numbers are like your all-star team during a lotto draw. On the other hand, there are “cold numbers” which are rarely drawn in winning lines. Professional lotto players refrain from using these numbers and don’t include it on their number sets.

Win Powerball Using Hot Numbers

powerball tickets

Let’s be straightforward in picking numbers to include in your number sets. Picking random numbers is useless or betting on significant dates as number sets won’t give you a winning edge as well. There are only two kinds of numbers that matter in the Powerball lottery. Hot numbers you should use and cold numbers you should avoid.

If you wish to combine significant dates with hot numbers to make you feel better then go for it. The key here is to spread out important dates with hot numbers to create multiple number sets. With that in mind, you feel good about using important dates while including hot numbers in your number sets as well.
