Checking Powerball Numbers Online – Why It Is Not a 100% Possible to Know the Winning Numbers

As Powerball is a game of chance there is very little way to know, until after the drawings have been held, whether you have successful, money-winning, numbers or not. The way it works is that there is a set of predetermined numbers, and these numbers are the winning numbers – it is with these numbers that at least some of your numbers have to match. If at least three of your white balls, or your red Power balls, match the lottery’s numbers then you have a monetary winning. The Jackpot is won by matching all five white balls and the red Powerball.

If there were a foolproof way of knowing what the winning numbers were going to be Powerball would not be a game of chance, and every single person who ever played it would be a winner.

The Not-Foolproof Way of Checking Powerball Numbers

If you are very determined you may be able to find out what the winning numbers may be. Keep in mind that these numbers are constantly changing – that last Wednesday’s winning numbers, or last Saturday’s winning numbers, are not the winning numbers for the next Wednesday or Saturday. Keeping this in mind – remembering that every attempt to know what the winning numbers will be is only an attempt, that there is nothing definite about the answers – you can still try to figure out what numbers are likely to win. And the internet helps.

Check past winning numbers: www.powerball.com will give you some of the last winning numbers. Look at these winning digits and try to see what the common factor is. For instance the winning numbers for the 14th of October, the 10th of October, and the 7th of October were 15, 20, 29, 31, 40, and Powerball 1, and 12, 27, 29, 43, 68, and Powerball 1, and 18, 30, 40, 48, 52, and Powerball 9. The safest assumption is that two digit numbers did really well that week, so, on the basis of probability, you may want to choose two digit numbers yourself. Powerball 1 seems to be a lucky number in that it won twice last week, but you will have to wait for the next Powerball drawings to see if that is still the case. Even and odd numbers seem to have an equally good chance at being the right numbers.

Powerball Number Checking Websites

That is one method. There are other non-foolproof methods. There are certain websites that have been designed especially to check Powerball numbers. How good a job these websites do is left to individual judgment. They also use old winning Powerball numbers to create probability – what is the probability that this or that number will win. This is actually possibly a lot more reliable than doing it yourself as computers are more excellent at mathematics than people usually are. The downfall is that you might just have access to a piece of information the website does not, but on the whole that is unlikely.

It is much more probable that the case is that the website has more information about past wins than we do. However, it is good to remember that the more data there is the more random it might look. Pattern emerges mostly from looking at a few things. But, still, go with the websites. Here are the links to some of the websites:
