How to play Big Sky Bonus Progressive Lottery?
You can purchase the Big Sky Bonus Lottery ticket from your nearest retailer or even purchase online at players club site.
Ticket cost per Play: $2.00
Select four numbers from 1 through 28 on the top panel of the play slip, or select Quick Pick.
Select one number from 1 through 17 (the Bonus Number) on the bottom panel, or select Quick Pick.
Once you get the ticket or Play slip you can choose a Quick Pick to have the computer randomly select your numbers for you.
If you have a favorite set of numbers, complete a Big Sky Bonus play slip and give it to your Lottery retailer, or insert it into a play slip reader at lotto self-service terminals.
Use a pen or pencil in any color other than red.
You can purchase one, two, three, four or five plays on a play slip.
You can play the same set(s) of numbers for up to 7 consecutive draws. If you want more than one draw, mark the number of draws in the multi-draw section of the play slip.
You may also make your selections using e-Playslip if you buy online.
How to win Big Sky Bonus lottery?
Match your numbers and your Big Sky Bonus number to the official numbers drawn by the Lottery. Each play is played separately.
Players can win by matching two, three or four of the four drawn numbers. Players can also win by matching the Big Sky Bonus number. Match all four numbers and win the progressive jackpot. Match 3 of 4 numbers and win $20. Match 2 of 4 numbers and win $2. Match the Bonus Number and win $10.
There is no maximum payout on the jackpot prize. If more than one player matches all four numbers, the jackpot will be divided equally between all winners.
When is the draw held?
Draw is held every day at 7:30 p.m. Mountain Time. Tickets may be purchased up to two minutes before the drawing.
The top portion of your ticket provides the draw dates your ticket is valid for. The date range and the total number of draws will appear in this area.
Each play, marked by a letter (e.g., A., B., C., D., and E.) is listed on the ticket in the play area. Each play consists of four numbers along with the second line of the play which is your Big Sky Bonus Number.
The total purchase price for the ticket will appear below the play area.

How to claim the prize in case you win?
If you win immediately sign the back of your ticket to establish ownership.
Collect prizes up to $599 at any Montana Lottery retailer.
Collect the jackpot or any prize $600 or greater at Montana Lottery headquarters Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
You may also claim any prize by mail. You can download and print a claim form to use when claiming a prize by mail.
All prizes must be claimed within six months of the drawing for which your play was eligible. If your ticket is for more than one draw (a multi-draw ticket) and you are claiming a prize before the final draw on your ticket, your retailer will keep your original ticket and give you an EXCHANGE TICKET. Your Exchange Ticket will contain the same numbers and will be valid for any remaining draws.
Note that winners who do not furnish a Social Security number or are not citizens of the United States are subject to higher tax withholding rates and will receive less than the advertised jackpot amount For U.S. citizens furnishing Social Security Numbers, Lottery is required to withhold 6.9% for Montana state tax and 24% for federal tax from any prize greater than $5,000..
For non–residents of the U.S., lottery withhold 30% federal tax on any prize $600 and over. At the end of the year, they mail each winner who has won $600 and over a W-2G form to use when filing his or her taxes.
